2015 Farewell...

Out with the old in with the NEW!!!

This year came and went in a flash it seems. Had some happy times and some
sad. Laughed a lot and frowned some to. Gained some and lost a few more.  Ran a pretty good race although I'm not to fast.  Some left me behind and when I fell down some ran right on past. I could go on and on write a dissertation or two about this year. I could complain, whine and cry over what in this year I didn't have a opportunity to do, but one things for sure the good out weighed the bad.  I have many, many memories to add too this book.  As this year winds down I'm truly blessed not in stuff or things, but in what I truly need and above all else His love remains steadfast and constant and His grace and mercy has brought me safe this far and He'll continue to keep me because He promised never to leave me alone!!! I am PRESSing forward towards a better me and fulfilling my DREAMS in 2016!!! Ready... Set... Let's Go!!!

Traces of fall still lingers mingling

with the fragrance of winter.

Brisk air enters swiftly intent

on leaving its mark.

Sounds and sights transform

the nights and the mornings a

light frost blankets the grass.

Anticipation rekindled in hearts, that

wonder of the season sets alight

a spark.

Freedoms Reign

Ascending high rising beyond the field of vision.  Eluding the quicksand intent on clinching tightly as if I'm its lone possession. Gliding without restraint limitless gratification. A vital force once deterred by a mirage disengaging the connection thought to be that which was a sense of security. It was comfortable there yet no room for wings to be spread. Stifled by trepidation overwhelming and continual. The moment had come to break apart to freely soar. This was the juncture it had been to long way overdue in
position the suitable time no where to go except the sky to Fly...

30 Day Writing Challenge~ Day 6~ Someone who fascinates you and why...

There is one person in particular that fascinates me.

She's seen decades go by and she has many stories to tell.

She can remember prices being just a few cent and now seeing

prices continue to rise.

Shes seen presidents come and go, but also saw

history being made when Obama was elected.

I could go on and on, but what fascinates me the

most is that God graced her with 101 years and that's

worth writing about in this post!!!

Musings

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I could rewrite the past 22 chapters of my life. What would the story line be different or would it remain the same? Would it include more adventure or would it even change? Would I be rescued by my knight in shining armor or continue to conquer it solo? Would I have my happily ever after with kids and a spouse in my beach front vacation house or will I be content with the hand I've been dealt? C'est la vie the saying goes, but someday just maybe someday I'll write the greatest chapter ever...

I would like to live in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl because it would be like a never ending vacation. The weather is nice year round. It seems like a nice place to live from what I read about or pictures I've seen in books. It's not that far from Disney World either. I would definitely be about that beach life!!!
